I am the Necklace

They are the Necklace

We are the Necklace

For the traditional Jewelry, the usage of precious materials is one of the most important value factors, so that makes me question: Why inert precious materials are so valuable? It is because their beauty, perfection, rareness or uniqueness? Each human being is not beautiful, perfect, rare but still unique in its own way? What is more precious than the human body?

In "We are the necklace", the body is the gemstone, the pearl and the gold. Re-evaluating the concept of value in an ironic way and challenging the role of the body in the relationship with jewelry.
