“I am the brooch” is an ironic response to the traditional ways of jewelry. For me, Jewelry is for the body. The relationship between brooch and body is distant since the clothing is one of the main actors and works as a barrier.

 

By shifting the roles in this relationship, the body finally is the centerpiece in the equation, making us question about the status quo of the traditional jewelry.
